Sorry for the lack of contact lately. I've been a little busy. I see many of you are remembering 9-11. I'll let you know this... the rush of firemen in heaven that day sure livened things up.

Terrorism has been around for thousands of years. People have the freedom to choose right and wrong. Evil people do evil things. I hope you never give up on people though. If you look hard enough you can find good in everyone.

Your simple act of kindness could be just what people need to choose the right path. I've given you the opportunity to expose people to the love that I've freely given to all. If you only choose to be nice to the people who are nice to you and look like you and act like you than you are missing the point of why I came in the first place.

I love you!

There is a lot of debate going on about being "good stewards" with all of our natural resources. I admire many of your motives for wanting to keep the world pure and wanting to make sure there are plenty of resources around for generations to come.

However, please don't get carried away. This world was created for you. Use the resources wisely but do feel free to use them. Our Father knew what he was doing when he put the resources in place. They weren't put there to never be utilized.

Man was given the wisdom to collect resources in a way that is safe, effective and fairly non obtrusive.

By the way, I didn't mind walking everywhere but man oh man what I could have done if I would have had one of those SUV's. The four-wheel-drive would have come in handy in those hills around the Sea of Galilee.

Peace out,

You would think that since I was "King of the Jews" that there wouldn't be much debate over whose side I would be on in all this turmoil in the Middle East. The truth is the entire situation saddens me. The other truth is there is really no end in sight until I return.

Thousands of years before I walked the earth this battle began. It amazes me to see the same battle being fought for so long. I can still see two brothers fighting over the same toy. "It's mine!" "No it's mine!"

You can split the toy in half. You can get the same toy so there are two of them. You'd think they'd both be happy but there is always something else.

The peace makers will be blessed and called children of God.

Peace out,

As we get started on this blogging deal, let's get a few things straight. Some of you will be offended by the things that I say and others of you will laugh when you see my thoughts written out on your computer screen. Either way, I hope you come back and even take an opportunity to comment once in awhile.

At times I need to remind myself how important these day to day things are for you.

For instance, I know gas prices are a big deal. I hope you realize that it is just money. Be glad you have cars in the first place. When I grew up, I had to walk everywhere. I didn't have those fancy tennis shoes either. My aunt Martha made all my sandals and they gave me blisters like you wouldn't believe.

War and terrorism sadden me too, but know that in bad times people come looking for me. Be ready to use even the worst of times for good. When my Father gave you freedom, unfortunately it made room for people to choose to do bad things.

There are a ton of other things that I will blog about in the upcoming weeks. I hope you can make it to the Birkdale Movie Theatre on Sunday mornings. You might like what you hear.

It will all work out in the end. I PROMISE!

This is our first blog. We will cover some pretty heavy topics. I hope you can sit back and enjoy what we have to say. There are millions of blogsites out there and for you to stop by and read this one means a lot.

I realize that some will take issue with this site. Know that you're only on earth for a little while. You'll have eternity to figure out God's intentions for the world. Why not stop taking everything so serious and get busy loving others.

Love you guys.
